Hogar Nacer boy's home is located 52 kilometers outside of Santa Cruz, Bolivia. More than 70 boys live here, as well as with the directors of the four Nacer homes, Miguel and Edly. Founded in 1997, this home was the first of the homes to be started. Since then many lives have been changed through Jesus Christ. The boys are always fighting going back to the life of drugs and the street. It is not an easy way of life to leave behind.
Hogar Nacer has its own website with photos, a slide show, and more information. Please check it out!
I was born in Cochabamba to an uncultured family. When I was 9 years old my parents abandoned us and I started to leave my house and steal in the streets until my friends invited me to go to a rehabilitation center (Casa Hogar Nacer). A few days after we arrived my friends escaped, I stayed, and 6 months later I accepted Jesus Christ into my heart and I have change little by little from my former self. Today I try to follow Christ. I am teaching children in the AWANA club and I am very happy doing it.
