Nacer Ministries

About us

Our vision

"And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation." — Mark 16:15

Our mission

In its work with people, Nacer focuses exclusively on biblically-based therapy. We are not interested in how destroyed or out-of-touch the person is. We believe that they are worth a lot because they carry in them the image of God, no matter how distorted it is. Nacer's program hopes to help each person to find his way to rehabilitation by means of a true encounter with God.

Bolivia statistics

14% of the population lives under $1 a day.

21% of the children 5-14 work.

25,000 children die before completing 5 years as a result of diseases that could otherwise be cured.

In Bolivia they estimate the 2,300 children inhale glue, paint thinner, and other types of chemicals to alleviate the pain caused by hunger and cold.

Of the children in the street, 60% have left their homes because of domestic violence, 20% because of lack of food, and another 20% are simply abandoned in the streets by their parents.

These children need to know the love of Jesus Christ.

Miguel Zuchetti

Miguel Zuchetti founded these homes because he too lived on the streets before coming to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He grew up in Peru and started using drugs when he was young. He knows the changing power of Jesus Christ in his life and wanted to share his saving encounter with Christ with the boys of Bolivia. He was encouraged by the Baptist International Mission to come to Bolivia to work with these boys. God provided the means to open the Nacer homes and he is here to stay.
